Privacy policy.

Landed is built around small social moves between people who already know each other. We try to keep the data we collect equally small.

The short version.

We collect what's needed to sign you in, find your friends on the app, and let you post visits. We don't sell or share that data with advertisers. No ads, no third-party analytics SDKs in the app. If you want your account gone, email us and it's gone.

What we collect.

• Phone number. You sign in with your phone number via SMS verification. We store it so we can match you to friends and so you can sign in again.
• Name and home city. You enter these when you set up your profile. They're shown to your friends on Landed.
• Visits you create. The city and date range, plus who created it. Visible to friends you've added.
• Friend connections. Who you've added, who's added you, and the status.
• A push notification token, if you allow it. Used only to send notifications.

Contacts.

When you grant contacts permission, Landed reads names and phone numbers from your device's contacts. To show which contacts are already on Landed, we send their phone numbers to our server and check them against the registered users. We don't keep a copy of your contacts on the server — the lookup runs and the result comes back; the input isn't stored.

Calendar.

If you turn on calendar sync, Landed writes your visits (and, optionally, friends' visits to your home city) to your iPhone's Calendar app. Landed only writes events it created and can remove them when you delete the visit. It doesn't read the rest of your calendar.

What we don't do.

• No advertising, no ad networks, no tracking pixels.
• No selling or renting of your data.
• No precise location collection.
• No third-party analytics SDKs in the app.

Where your data lives.

Account data, friendships, and visits are stored in Supabase. Phone-number sign-in is handled through Stytch, and push notifications go through Expo. Each provider only sees the data needed for its part of the service.

Your data, your call.

You can edit your name and home city in the app. You can revoke contacts or calendar permission from your iPhone's Settings > Landed page. To delete your account and all associated data, email hello@landed.now from the email on file or include the phone number you signed up with. We process deletes within 7 days.

Children.

Landed isn't designed for, or directed at, anyone under 13. If we learn that we've collected data from a child under 13, we'll delete it.

Changes.

If we make material changes — say, adding a new data type or third party — we'll update this page and the date at the top, and we'll let active users know in the app.
